Scott Lucas & The Married Men Debut First Video With “Blood Half Moons,” Return To Dynasty Podcasts Next Week
With the group’s sophomore record Blood Half Moon dropping this coming Tuesday, June 5th, Scott Lucas & The Married Men have been out in full force in support of the effort. The act just last night guested on Chicago Live!, and before that, played Millennium Park on Monday. Now, Married Men frontman Scott Lucas visits Dynasty Podcasts at the Music Garage today for a special live acoustic performance and CVU podcast interview. The session will also be filmed for AOL’s Signature Sounds program, hosted by media personality Allison Hagendorf. For pictures, updates, and more from the live session and interview, follow Jaime Black and Dynasty Podcasts on Twitter. And look for a new Dynasty Podcasts interview and live session with Scott Lucas to post at this site this coming Tuesday, as well as in the Chicago episode of Signature Sounds once it posts online.
In the meantime, catch Scott Lucas And The Married Men at a free show this Sunday, June 3rd at Logan Square Farmers Market, or, June 9th at Metro (tix). While there, the group encourages attendees to film the song “Heavy Lidded Love” on their smart phones, then submit the footage to the band for possible inclusion in the track’s forthcoming video. And for a Married Men fix right now, scope the band’s hazy new desert-set video for the track “Blood Half Moons” below, directed by Lucas himself. That video follows the frontman’s winter 2011 CVU interview, recorded during the mixing of Blood Half Moon.
