CVU Exclusive Premiere: Stephen Paul Smoker: “In Cairo” Video
New from Stephen Paul Smoker and premiering exclusively here at ChicagoVerseUniteD comes the turbulent video for “In Cairo.” The cut comes from SPS’ 2012 Kilo release, Ripe Fruit, with the treatment featuring montage footage from worldwide revolutions, including the Arab Spring and the U.S.-based Occupy movement. Created by Zak Baker and comprised entirely of spliced together YouTube footage, the clip comes in front of the act’s upcoming Hideout show (tix), happening August 9th. That event also features the Arts of Life Band, as well as the Rough House Puppet Theater‘s “Murder Ballads” rock n roll puppet show.
