This Thursday, July 12th, North Side venue and live music institution Metro kicks off a series of Metrospective events, celebrating and revisiting the venue’s 30 year history. According to the Metro anniversary site, the series “features three decades of art, posters and photos from Metro’s archives, including never before seen work.” The free event line, described as “interactive events exploring the intersection of music and visual art,” runs Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm, from July 12 through August 3, 2012.
