It’s been a good year in 2012 for Chance The Rapper, with the up-and-coming artist dropping his well-received 10Day mixtape earlier in the spring. Now, the rapper is set to perform the first official 10Day event happening tomorrow, Friday, June 8th at Lincoln Hall.  Though the show is sold out, the MC confirms through his Twitter that a “VERY limited” number of tickets will be available at the door. Check out the artist’s 10Day release via the download link below, followed by the effort’s Chopped By Chase B treatment link after that.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Chance The Rapper is back with another video off his recent 10Day release, this time for the track “Hey Ma.” Find that photo-laden Elijah Alvarado-directed clip below, following a download link to a selection of CTR a cappellas and the artist’s recent CVU podcast interview, and followed by a Savemoney video featuring Chance and other local talent. Catch Chance The Rapper live at a few upcoming local events, including May 18th at Subterranean (tix), June 1st at 600 W. Chance The Rapper has been on the rise since even before his 10Day mixtape dropped earlier this month, and with two upcoming events, the MC’s ascent is sure to continue. First up, Chance headlines Subterranean (tix) on Friday May 18th for the Last Call monthly hip hop showcase. A few weeks later on June 1st, the rapper performs at a post-prom after party, happening June 1st at 600 W. Cermak. The event will serve as the video shoot for 10Day cut “Prom Night.” Get a triple fix from that release with videos below for 10Day cuts “Brain Cells,” “22 Offs,” and “Fuck You Tahm Bout,” all following the artist’s recent CVU podcast interview. And find 10Day as a download link below, or watch for 10Day to get the chopped treatment soon via Chase B.

Ruby Hornet Posts Under 21 Class Freestyle Clip

At the end of last month, CVU visited Ruby Hornet‘s The Digital Freshness Under 21 Edition event, conducting Dynasty Podcasts interviews with a few of the night’s performers, including Kembe X, Chance The Rapper, and St. Millie.
