Black Blood Ball 18+ Halloween Dance Party @ Schuba’s
In October 2008, I booked, promoted, and managed an 18+ Halloween costume dance party on the second floor of Schuba’s. The Black Blood Ball featured the Dark Wave Disco DJ’s, with sponsorships from Filter Magazine and Toyota, as well as Victory Records, and Lions Gate’s Saw V film. Prizes and giveaways were awarded to attendees participating in the evening’s costume contest.
The event garnered an advance write-up in Time Out Chicago.

Assassins Double Bill Live At Schuba’s, w/ Echonine, The Prairie Cartel, Dark Wave Disco
In August 2006, I booked and produced two shows with Chicago’s Assassins in the main room of Schuba’s. The early show featured support from Echonine, while The Prairie Cartel opened the later, sold out performance. The Dark Wave Disco DJ’s and I DJ’d both sets.
The performance garnered a mention in this Time Out Chicago piece, written by the magazine’s Antonia Simigis.
The Rock Party Industry Night 2006 @ Lakeview Broadcasting Company
During winter 2006, I hosted and DJ’d the music industry DJ night The Rock Party @ Chicago’s Lakeview Broadcasting Company. Guest DJ’s included Greg Corner from Kill Hannah (bottom image), as well as members of Plain White T’s and The Academy Is… who each made The Rock Party their after-party following hometown performances.
