The Missing Chums Post New Two Song Single
The Missing Chums‘ last release, Out of the Gates, dropped in February of last year. Now, the group has returned with a strong two-song single release, with the band’s Mike Kegler citing artists like The Raveonettes and Sigur Ros as influences. Check out “I Guess” (previously featured on CVU last summer as a live performance) and the more introspective “A Consideration” as a download link and stream below. The Missing Chums Post A Trio Of New Performance Footage Videos
A number of new videos from The Missing Chums have hit the web. First up is the official clip for UK-influenced act’s track “Moving Target,” featuring live performance footage and taken from the band’s Out Of The Gates offering. Also from that album is the similarly performance footage based treatment for “Jailbird.” Finally, a live, handclap-led video for the band’s production “I Guess” completes the collection. The group is set to drop its debut full length, Out of the Gates, tomorrow, Friday, March 11th, and will be celebrating the event with a performance at Andersonville music store and electronic workshop Transistor. Out of nowhere today, CVU has been sent new music from a Chicago band by the name of The Missing Chums who’ve flown under this site’s radar until now. The Manchester-influenced group has posted a new downloadable single and video from from its forthcoming debut full length, Out of the Gates, which drops digitally on February 22nd. Check out the classic alternative feel of the title track below as a free download via the group’s Soundcloud page (which features a number more streaming selections), as well as the clip for the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it track.
