Chicago MC Show You Suck has posted a treatment for his track “Hunter Hearst Helmsley – Homies Help Homies,” off the artist’s One Man Pizza Party 2: Mo Slices Mo Problems effort. The video features Show’s hypeman Auggie the 9th, as well as a cameo from RedEyeChicago.com‘s Ernest Wilkins, and was shot between the Congress and Jugnaut. Netherfriends Look Towards ‘Middle America’ On Next Release, Drop “Full Of It” Remix Feat. Show You Suck
It’s never not a busy time for Shawn Rosenblatt’s Netherfriends project, and right now is no exception. First up, the act has signed with local label Kilo Records, joining the likes of Loyal Divide, The Loneliest Monk, and Stephen Paul Smoker. Kilo will release Netherfriends’ forthcoming Middle America album, comprised of the first 12 songs off the act’s ambitious 50 Songs 50 States effort, which collects one song written and recorded in each state over this last year. Middle America will be available digitally via Kilo on February 7th of next year, but the effort is already available as a cassette via Plustapes.
Also available from now from Netherfriends is a remix of the act’s track “Full Of It,” the original of which can be found on the act’s recent Netherfriends Does Nilsson collection. The funk-laden treatment features Chicago MC Show You Suck, and can be downloaded by tweeting the following message:
